Beluga Productions is the executive producer of the debut album from duet EDMOND and YACINE : 12 songs in "Westaf" (African Western) mode where they blend their original songs with lyrics by Pierre Grillet (Bashung, Chamfort...) and melodies by Michel Domisseck (Christophe Maé). The album, produced by the Régis Ceccarelli/Fabrice Cahen team and by Michel Domisseck, is slated for release in Spring 2010.
27/10/2009 "BERLIN WALL OF SOUND" COMPILATION : MALARIA !
The Son du Maquis label has just released a terrific, and historic, compilation for the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall : 30 tracks by the cream of the crop of German groups and artists between 1961 and 1989. Amongst these, the all-girl group Malaria ! and their song "Your turn to run" produced by Eric Dufaure in downtown New York in 1982.

To celebrate the release of the "Berlin Wall of Sound" compilation, BETTINA KOESTER, lead singer of Malaria, will do 2 gigs : Friday Oct. 30th at 8pm at the Czech Center (18 r. Bonaparte 6th) ; Sunday Nov. 1st at 10pm at the International (5-7 r. Moret 11th). She will perform songs from Malaria and from her new solo album "Queen of Noise".
